It's important for us to keep up with current trends and constantly monitor changes in the food industry. The exceptional expertise, experience and applied engineering technologies of our colleagues make our products unique and competitive in a dynamic and changing market.

In addition to manufacturing, we also pay special attention to research and development. We are proud to have one of the most modern meat development laboratories in Hungary, where our specialists create more than 300 new products every year, thus satisfying our customers' individual needs.

Our history

1991

The predecessor of M Profood Zrt. was founded in 1991 with the aim of supplying the Hungarian meat industry with the best quality raw materials. Initially, we were engaged in the import and sale of additives, and gradually we expanded our activities.

1996

In 1996, we built our own powder mixing plant, where we have been producing high quality spice and additive blends for the meat, poultry and dairy industries since the beginning. Since then, the plant has been continuously expanded and improved in line with new industry trends.

1998

After domestic succes, we started selling our products internationally in 1998, and are now present in more than 30 countries.

2010

In 2010, we opened our cross-contamination-free plant, where we produce allergen-free products and other products with special manufacturing needs to serve our customers with food intolerances.

2014

We have opened our starter plant, which allows us to tailor 100% of our starter culture production to the needs of our customers. Our mission is to produce our products to the highest quality standards.

2016

We apply the highest food safety standards throughout our operations: Since 2001 we have been working in accordance with ISO 9001 and HACCP quality management system standards, and since 2016 we have had our Food Safety Management System certified by Bureau Veritas Certification to the FSSC 22000 standard.

2017

In our liquid flavour plant we have started to produce clean-label liquid smoke products in a sustainable, environmentally friendly way. Our new process allows us to produce high quality products.

2023

Today, M Profood Ltd. is a leading manufacturer and distributor in the domestic and international food industry, offering a wide range of services and products to our customers.
